As a Social Media Volunteer, you will work closely with our social Media Director to create engaging content for Police and Fire: The Fallen Heroes social media presence. This will include keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused as well as seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences. Must be comfortable posting on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin.
Hootsuite is our main platform to schedule post - would love someone to make sure we are engaging daily!

Description
Founded in July of 2009 upon the death of four Oakland Police Officers killed on March 21, 2009, from a lone gunman. Since that time we have grown into an organization that provides support and services to the families and agencies of both Law Enforcement and Fire Service that have had a member die in the line of duty while protecting his / her community.
