Operation Backpack(r) is our initiative to stand in the gap for our region’s most vulnerable children. Donations help us provide backpacks, school supplies and funding for academic enrichment to more than 2,000 homeless and underprivileged children in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. Together, we can help ensure these children achieve success despite their circumstances.
Please consider donating a filled backpack or two. If you have children of your own, consider engaging them in the process. Be sure to label it with the appropriate grade level and add a note for the student.
We are always short on certain supplies, and would particularly appreciate donations of academic planners, calculators, USBs and subject dividers.
Please go to https://www.voachesapeake.org/backpack for more information how you can help with Operation Backpack!
Thank you!
