Use your talent and passion to sew to help hospice families who have lost a loved one. Hackensack Meridian Hospice provides Memory Bears to family members as part of our bereavement services. Patients’ clothing such as a favorite shirt is transformed into a huggable family keepsake.
Experienced seamstresses with at least an intermediate-advanced skill level are needed. We will provide all of the supplies and will even make all arrangements to drop off supplies to your home in central NJ. All we need is your time and talent.
For more information, contact hospice.volunteer@hmhn.org or 732-321-7769.

Mission Statement
Hackensack Meridian Hospice offers compassionate holistic care to those experiencing a life limiting illness to ensure that they may live as fully and comfortably as possible. The hospice philosophy treats the person and the symptoms of the disease, rather than treating the disease itself. Hospice care includes many things, but what it means to us is dignity, respect, comfort, quality of life and time together at life’s most precious moments.
