We are looking for energetic yoga fanatics to lead our seniors through a few yoga exercises on a scheduled basis - set by the instructor. (Weekly / Biweekly / Monthly).
We are open Monday through Friday, and we would be able to host an instructor between 11am - 12:00pm, or from 2:00pm - 4:00pm.
All volunteers must be vaccinated for COVID-19 + One Booster.

Hearts & Minds Activity Center is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related conditions by providing safe, nurturing activities, intergenerational services, and a rich network of support.
Description
Founded in 1984, Hearts & Minds Activity Center emerged as the first large capacity dementia-specific adult day program in the country. Since its inception, Hearts & Minds has provided services to over 6,000 individuals living with dementia and their families. Our adult day program offers the following:
Over 60 weekly hours of caregiver relief
Daily intergenerational activities
Variety of activities tailored to individual’s impairment level
Active peer and multigenerational socialization
Secure outdoor space designed for individuals with dementia
Shower, podiatry, and haircut services
Ongoing community education and support
Respite services offered six days per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- 30 min to an hour once per week / biweekly / monthly
- Yoga certification preferred. Upbeat and enthusiastic personality required. Previous experience leading seniors, teaching chair exercise, and working with people who have dementia is preferred.
