***PCAS Does Not Offer Volunteer Hours for Court Ordered Community Service***
Do you love animals? Are you active or enjoy a good morning workout? Then come join our team as a Morning Cleaning Technician!
This volunteer role involves handling animals, using pressure washers, and assisting with daily morning kennel cleaning. You'll be trained on all equipment and help to keep our animals happy, healthy and safe. This is a volunteer role for folks who:
- Have morning availability
- Are physically able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Are at least 16 years of age
- Are comfortable around cats and dogs in a shelter environment
- Are not sensitive to pet dander or loud noises
- Are able to work with a fast-paced and fun team
Why is this important?
Our pets deserve to be treated with love and care while at our shelter. Cleaning techs are vital in making that happen! We clean all kennels for all pets 365 days a year, and our cleaning techs help accomplish this task alongside our care team. YOU make a difference by providing comfort to these furry friends!
If this sounds like something you're interested in, please visit our website and complete a volunteer application today. We'd love to have you join our PCAS pack! We are a Save 90 animal shelter, meaning we do not believe in euthanizing for time or space. We pride ourselves in helping our community and spreading education on responsible pet ownership.
