Join New Voters to help in the important mission of registering all eligible high school students to vote!
We have two ways to get involved with New Voters: as a Mentor or as an Intern. The Mentor position is meant for college-aged students who are interested in getting involved but do not have the time to commit to a full internship! Mentors will be responsible for guiding 3-5 high school students through the process of hosting voter registration drives in their respective schools -- this involves contacting them via phone or email at least two times a month. The Intern position requires a greater time commitment, and you will be assigned a certain department within New Voters with specific, weekly tasks and guidance from the head of that department.

Mission Statement
We are the youth of America. We unite to safeguard our future, champion transparency, and have our voices heard. We will observe our Senators and Representatives. We will not vote for those who blindly put party above country. We will vote for those who speak for us and our future -- those who advocate for school safety, protect the planet, and uphold the American ideals. Members of Congress, each year there are 3 million New Voters. We will vote. And we will be watching.
Description
New Voters is a national 501(c)(3), nonpartisan organization with the goal of registering eligible students across America to vote. Each year, 3 million students graduate from high school, and we actively work towards 100% voter registration of these youth voters by helping student leaders have registration drives in their schools. Our state-specific toolkits and college mentorship program guide high school students from all levels of experience through the process of hosting extremely successful voter registration drives. Get involved to help amplify youth voices, a critical task in our current political climate!
