Connections to Success empowers families and individuals to break generational poverty and gain economic independence through hope, resources, and a plan. Connections to Success needs mentors who will work with individuals and families, all of whom have graduated from a 2-week personal/professional development course. Mentors serve as supporters and advocates, helping our participants reach the goals they have set. Many of our participants have little to no support system, our hope is that the mentors can be that for their mentee. Our mentors do not have to have any background or experience in social services. We do provide mentor training and additional support for our mentors throughout their time. Mentors need to be 18 years old and be able to commit to meeting about every other week for a year. If interested, please reach out to Paula Wheeler, pwheeler@connectionstosuccess.org
