- Support Red Cross Mission
- Ensure youth volunteers complete the youth volunteer orientation process and requirements
- Ensure that all Red Cross youth volunteers are properly identified as Red Cross Ensure youth
- Ensure that volunteers hours are tracked and reported monthly
- Plan, implement and participate in volunteer recognition activities
- Attend Advisory Council meetings
You will need:- -American Red Cross background check
Dependent upon leadership position, qualifications may include:
-Knowledge of military protocol and culture;
-Knowledge of community resources
-Ability to work effectively with a team
-Ability to recruit and involve volunteers
-Strong communication skills, oral and written
-Basic computer skills
-Supervisory skills; ability to resolve local volunteer issues
-Knowledge of Red Cross structure
