One of our puppy raisers had this to say:
"Best volunteer experience ever. The DBL (Dogs for Better Lives) team was so warm and welcoming, helping me with every obstacle while puppy raising. The trainers lead with kindness and compassion, encouraging the best in both dog and human handler. Every training plan is personalized according to the pup's personality, strengths, and challenges, all in the hopes that each dog will one day become a great Assistance Dog."

Dogs for Better Lives professionally trains dogs to become Hearing Assistance Dogs, Facility Dogs, and Autism Assistance Dogs. We do this at a minimal cost of an application fee to the client.
Dogs for Better Lives travels to the client for an interview. Following the application process the dog is delivered to the client by the Certified Assistance Dog Trainer that trained the dog. The Trainer spends several days supporting the client in their daily activities with their new Assistance dog.
