Big Brothers Big Sisters Program Serving 9 Counties in Greater Tampa Bay Area of Florida
(Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Citrus, Hernando, Sumter, Marion & Alachua)
Thank you so much for your interest in becoming a mentor to a child in the Tampa Bay area! Big Brothers Big Sisters is always in need volunteers! Our mentoring programs make meaningful one-to-one mentoring relationships ("matches") by pairing volunteers ("Bigs") with children ("Littles"), age 5 through young adulthood. One person providing positive direction for a child has the power to measurably impact the direction of that child’s entire future. Depending on your location, we have various programs available.
To become a Mentor with our Agency:
Step 1: Submit a Volunteer Application
Step 2: Attend a 90-minute Orientation & Training Session
Step 3: Complete an Interview, and undergo a Level II background check
Step 4: Meet Your Potential Little
Step 5: Let the FUN Begin!!

Description
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, Inc. (serving Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Sumter, Marion and Alachua), is a nonprofit social service organization that exists to establish, support, and supervise one-to-one relationships between appropriate adult volunteers and children. Through the match relationships and supportive casework services, Big Brothers Big Sisters strives to provide the children with growth experiences and to positively impact their families.
