A great way to enjoy the outdoors during this time is to work in the gardens at the Heslin House! We have an 'adopt-a-bed’ program where you would be responsible for a small section of flower beds.
You would talk/email with our lead gardener to know what’s in that bed, and then drop by and work as your schedule allows! On the odd chance other volunteers are working in their bed at the same time, you could work at opposite ends to ensure social distancing.
Bring your own gloves and tools - this time of year is all about weeding, so just hand trowels will work as we enjoy awesome soil.
Please feel free to contact us with questions!
