Under the direction of the local Disaster Program Manager, Community Partnership volunteers collaborate with other non-profits, community groups, faith-based organizations, civic groups, and other community stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for community engagement in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery activities.
Projects may include tasks such as conducting meetings with partners to build relationships, planning and participating in exercises with partners, or assisting with community response planning. This volunteer position supports the American Red Cross San Angelo, TX Chapter and tasks my be performed remotely.
