MATHCOUNTS combines the efforts of education, business, government, and the technological community to promote Math among middle/junior high students. MATHCOUNTS was developed as a positive and rewarding way to make parents, educators, and the general public aware of career opportunities in Math.

The winning and high-scoring mathletes from the 14 Chapter/Regional competitions held around the state will be competing for a position on the State of Ohio MATHCOUNTS team of 4 that will advance to the National Competition. This year’s state competition will be held on Saturday, March 15th, at Columbus State Community College.

LOCATION: Registration and Awards Ceremony will be at the Workforce Development Center.
Proctors and Scoring Room Volunteers will be in Math Department at Davidson Hall.

There are three areas where volunteers are still needed:

1.) Registration

2.) Proctoring a Test Room

3.) Scoring/Grading the Tests

Registration: Time Commitment 8 - 10 a.m.
Proctor: Time Commitment 8:45 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.
Scoring: Time Commitment 10:15 a.m. - 2 p.m.
