Elementary schools in the School District of Philadelphia need volunteers to coach struggling readers. In the Philadelphia Student Support program, you could work with students in person twice a week during school hours. Volunteers help students in grades kindergarten to Fifth grade. After clearances are obtained and a training session is held, volunteers are matched with a teacher.
We are recruiting people now to get started this Fall.
