We are looking for a volunteer to facilitate a self-advocacy group on a monthly basis. The group facilitator would work with staff and program participants to come up with discussion topics pertaining to self-advocating, such as anything from healthy relationships, to government issues, history of disability rights, communication skills, etc. We are looking for one hour, once a month. Any day of the week Mon-Fri is fine between the hours of 10-11 or 12-1pm. Volunteer should be outgoing and friendly, comfortable engaging with people with disabilities, and must be able to pass a background check.
