Each Year SAHA reaches out to the community and partners with Moms Against Poverty to collect toys for our residents aged 0-18. This year we will be collecting over 400 toys! Once they are collected, they will all need to be wrapped and prepared to be delivered to the children.
We are looking for help wrapping all of these gifts! Come to our main office to help with the wrapping. While there will be a lot to do, there will also be a festive fun environment, with music, refreshments and good cheer.
We have 8 remaining spots available from 2:00-4:00 PM.
The event will on Sunday December 15 at our main office at 1835 Alcatraz Ave., Berkeley.

Description
The purpose of the SAHA's Volunteer Program is to improve the quality of living and promote health and well-being for Satellite Housing's residents. Volunteers will help foster community by facilitating activities for the residents, such as exercise groups, art classes, discussion groups, providing health and wellness information, leading or participating in games, assisting with special events, etc. The residents really appreciate the effort that is put forth by the volunteers, and look forward to the weekly interactions.
