Volunteers in these positions work directly with our patients and staff members in multiple medical units in our hospital, helping to support the patients and their families throughout their hospital stay. Volunteers are in place to provide comfort and understanding to the patients in the form of distraction such as conversation, gaming, entertainment, or simply just being in place to help another person that may be struggling to help themselves.

These volunteer positions will provide for that need that many have to serve others and their community, as well as your own personal will to find a fulfilling opportunity to give of yourself in a rewarding way.

We have multiple Intensive Care, Acute Care, Trauma, Emergency Departments, Oncology Units, Cardiac Units, and Neuro Units, as well as Orthopedic and other locations where a volunteer can find a short term (6 months) or long term (any number of years) placement. If you have the desire to work with babies, children, teens, or adults, we probably have a program for you.
