Ace Monster Toys Makerspace brings free tabletop workshops to the Golden Gate Branch of the Oakland Public Library. They are the neighborhood library branch. These workshops are every 3rd Saturday of the month. This program is supported by AMT donations and members as well as general volunteers.
We are seeking a Coordinator for this program. The coordinator would:
- Manage volunteer contributors and workshop staff
- Schedule and post events
- Manage purchasing and supplies organization
- Work with the marketing team to promote events
This is approximately an 8-10 hour commitment and we ask for a minimum 90-day commitment.

Ace Monster Toys dba Ace Makerspace is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit member supported organization founded in 2010. We support traditional makers and craftspeople as well as hackers both digital and material. Our community brings together people of diverse skill levels by providing resources and culture to build networks; co-work; and engage in projects that benefit individuals and the community at large. The resources we develop include spaces and a wide variety of tools and supplies to support making and learning.
