ORGANIZATION: San Diego Blood Bank

Donor Center Host are responsible for welcoming those who have just donated blood. They help with serving refreshments and monitoring donors for any reactions. We are looking for friendly-focused, outgoing people who enjoy interacting with our donors. Advocates serve in four hour shifts.

1 volunteer needed per shift.

Sundays - Mondays: 8 am - 12 pm or 12 pm - 4 pm
Tuesdays - Wednesdays: 10 am - 2 pm or 2 pm - 6 pm
Thursdays - Saturday: 8 am - 12 pm or 12 pm - 4 pm

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS:

• Use face masks/ covering and gloves
• Wipe down/ sanitize donor chairs, beds, tables, pens, and all counter tops (after each use/ donor)
• Encourage donors to wash hands or use hand sanitizer before and after donation.
• Maintain social distancing
• Help with crowd control
