Victory Programs’ Boston Living Center (BLC) is a nonprofit community and resource center that fosters the wellness of individuals living with chronic health conditions including and beyond HIV/AIDS, people who are experiencing housing and/or food insecurity, and those who are isolated. The BLC responds to the changing needs of its community through education, treatment information, and support services.

We are looking for great volunteers to serve congregate meals, and lunch to our members. Lunch shifts are any weekday from 10 AM - 2:30 PM. Volunteers help with preparing meals, serving meals, and cleaning after meal service.

This is a great opportunity to support your community, connect with individuals, and see the direct impact of your service. If you are looking for a rewarding and fun volunteer opportunity, this is the right fit for you!

Volunteers must be a least 18 years or older.

Victory Programs opens the door to hope, recovery, and community for individuals and families facing homelessness, substance use disorders, or other chronic health conditions.

Description

Victory Programs is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting the lives of individuals and families facing homelessness, substance use disorders, and chronic health conditions. When people face complex challenges, we step in to provide the essential support they need through vital services, case management, housing, and basic essentials. In practical terms, we meet people where they are and help them address the unique challenges that stand in the way of stability, safety, independence, and participation in community life.


Victory Programs operates over 25 programs across the Great Boston Area serving over 3,500 individuals per year. As more people find themselves in crisis and turn to Victory Programs for help, we continue to evolve and grow to address unmet needs in our community.
