Give Rides to Impact Lives!
Volunteer drivers for Sound Generations' Volunteer Transportation program, using their own vehicle (mileage reimbursement is an option), help older adults maintain their independence by taking them to medical appointments and back home. Clients are enormously grateful for improved access to medical care, meaningful interactions with caring volunteers, and increased peace of mind.
This opportunity is extremely FLEXIBLE: volunteers choose the days, times, frequency, and areas in which they want to drive. Most of our volunteer drivers choose a couple of rides a week, though some give more rides and some less. Each week can be different if that's what works.
Help make a huge difference in the lives of seniors near you by becoming a volunteer driver.

"You have done wonders for my life. I would not have been able to stay in my own home for as long as I have without your help. Thank you for all you do." Jeanne, 84
