Give Rides to Change Lives!
As a volunteer driver with the Sound Generations Volunteer Transportation program, you provide rides to medical appointments and back for adults 55 and older trying to age their way at home. This seemingly simple act provides assurance, human connection, and peace of companionship.
Using their own vehicle (mileage reimbursement is an option), volunteer drivers choose how many rides they want to give each week, what day and times, and to what area they want to drive. Clients are enormously grateful for their improved access to medical care, meaningful interactions with caring volunteers, and increased peace of mind.
Help make a huge difference in the lives of seniors near you by becoming a volunteer driver.

"You have done wonders for my life. I would not have been able to stay in my own home for as long as I have without your help. Thank you for all you do." Jeanne, 84
**Note: WE NEED DRIVERS THROUGHOUT KING COUNTY!! You would drive seniors who live near your home.
