Sound Generations' volunteer drivers help older adults get to their important and life-sustaining medical appointments. This seemingly simple act of giving a ride has a huge positive impact.
Our volunteer drivers, using their own vehicle, provide a ride to an adult 55 and older to their medical appointment, wait for them, and return them home. The impact on clients is assurance they can get the care needed, human connection, and the peace of companionship.
This opportunity is very flexible: drivers choose which days, times, frequency, and areas they wish to serve. How often drivers provide rides can change weekly too. Make a difference in the life of a senior near you, become a volunteer driver today!
