Event Description: Annual Step It Up For Clearbrook 5K run/1 mile walk. Each step helps us in our mission to provide services, opportunities, and support for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Volunteer Opportunities:
- T-Shirt Distribution (10 people) 6:30 am-8: 30am: Distributing t-shirts to runners who did not come to packet pick-up
- Gear Check (6 people) 6:30 am-8:30 am or 8:30 am-10:30 am: Similar to coat check but with runners bags, purses, phones, etc
- Intersection Monitors (50 people) 7:30 am-10 am: 2 people at every intersection to cheer runners on and monitor the race
- Breakfast Servers (10 people) 6:30 am-8:30 am or 8:30 am-10:30 am: Serving bagels, muffins, fruit, etc
- Set-Up Crew (5 people) 6 am-8 am: Put tent and tables up, etc
- Clean-Up Crew (5 people) 9:30 am-11 am: Take tents down, pick up trash along the course, etc

Description
Clearbrook is an Illinois not-for-profit agency, established in 1955 to create opportunities for children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilties such as autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome. The organization has grown to serve over 7,000 individuals yearly and to include more than 50 facilities in Chicago and the suburbs. Clearbrook offers therapeutic and day services to children and adults, employment training and job placement for adults, programs geared towards to those on the autrism specturm, programs for seniors, and a wide range of adult residential programs. Clearbrook's programs serve individuals of all ages giving them a place to learn, work, live and realize their full potential. WE ARE PROUD OF OUR RATIOS! 92 %Goes Directly to Programs/Services.
