At Brighton Hospice, we understand special significance of the bond between humans and their animal companions. Oftentimes, a patient who is receiving hospice service is unable to care for their pet as they once did. This is where our Pet Care Volunteers come in!
Our Pet Care Volunteers can assist patients by helping with many of the activities they are no longer able to do with their pets. This may include dog walking, transporting pets to veterinary or grooming appointments, and basic pet care and cleaning. Pet Care Volunteers can also assist with adoption if needed.
Must be 18 years old.
