Help At Your Door, a nonprofit serving seniors and individuals with disabilities, is in need of volunteer drivers throughout the Twin Cities Metro area. Help provide the keys to independence as a volunteer driver by transporting seniors to errands and appointments using your car.
Drive as little as two times per month or as often as you’d like. You choose the rides based on your own schedule and geographic area. Drivers in the Burnsville and surrounding areas are currently in high need. Rides are given on weekdays only. Enjoy the companionship of seniors and the knowledge that you are providing an essential service for those who cannot get around on their own. Partial mileage reimbursement is available.
We offer flexible scheduling, social interaction with a welcoming volunteer community, and most of all, hands-on activities that help the aging population and individuals with disabilities maintain their independence and continue living in their homes.
Group or one-to-one training options are available.
