Giving Back to those who Gave so much

Every year, Eras Senior Network provides outdoor chore services to help prepare our clients' yards for the coming season. Grab a rake and face covering and help seniors throughout Milwaukee County.

Duties include: raking leaves, cleaning first floor gutters, washing windows, weeding, removing screens on windows, trimming bushes, and removing lawn furniture in yards.

Work is aimed to be completed throughout the months of October and November.

COVID Volunteer Safety and Health Policy

During this seasonal yard clean up volunteer opportunity, volunteers are asked to follow CDC guidelines to help reduce the spread of illness. Groups are limited to no more than four people, or one family living in the same household. Volunteers are required to wear a mask while serving. Eras Senior Network is happy to provide face masks and hand sanitizer to volunteers. While volunteering, we ask that volunteers maintain a minimum of six feet of distance from each other. Volunteers are not to make any physical contact with the client, but are encouraged to call them on the phone if they need to communicate. We request that all volunteers refrain from serving if they exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms including cough, difficulty breathing, fever, loss of taste or smell, and upset stomach, or have been in close contact with someone exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms within the last 14 days. Volunteers should also refrain from serving if they have had a fever over 100.4 within the last 72 hours.
