You’ll receive training and orientation to ensure you feel confident and comfortable in your role!

Support our patients and their families by offering a warm presence and a helping hand. Here are some example of what our volunteers do for our families:

Sit with patients to read or watch TV

Take a patient out for a short walk

Keep a patient company while caregivers take a break

Share your specialized skills including reiki, prayer, cosmetology, music, or whatever your talents are!

Just be together

Contact Volunteer Coordinator, Caitlyn Williams, at 610-627-2050 or cwilliams11@bayada.com for more information!

***All Volunteers that make visits to patients/families are required to have a Covid-19 vaccination, and during orientation, we will provide fit-testing for an N95 as well as a full supply of PPE so that you feel safe and comfortable when out at homes or facilities. Our goal at BAYADA is to provide the highest quality home health care services available. We believe our clients and their families deserve home health care delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability, our BAYADA core values.

Description

With a variety of care and comfort services delivered through an interdisciplinary team of health care professionals and volunteers, the goal of hospice is to support a patient’s quality of life.

We can normally begin hospice services within 24 hours of your call, so you don’t have to wait when services are really needed. And with 'round the clock availability and responsiveness, you can count on the support of a member of your hospice team any time, day or night.

Our comprehensive services can include:

  • Nursing care
  • Physician care
