The integrity of our election is critical to our democracy. While baseless accusations of fraud are harmful, following up on legitimate concerns is an important way to increase confidence in our election systems.
We have requests from candidates who have had specific issues with ballots and election machines around the country, as well as some who have concerns about differences from polling data and would like help analyzing the results. We already have several data science volunteers analyzing data, but need help tracking the specific tasks and follow-up needed in different locations around the country.
Ideally the volunteers for this opportunity would have
- experience or willingness to learn Trello or similar project management software
- excellent communication skills
- high level of responsibility and responsiveness
- availability on a daily basis for at least 1-2 hrs for one or two weeks.

The concept of civ.works is to finally provide a societal machine to stand up against something created nearly 50 years ago -and begin the process of empowering citizens again. We are building a platform together -against an incredibly mature and well-funded machine. Your volunteer efforts will be helping us collectively build something powerful and important.
