Serve as tour guides for the walking tour of St. Charles, which is part of the America in Bloom national symposium hosted in St. Charles. Each tour guide will lead a group of approximately 20 symposium attendees to 8 different locations around downtown St. Charles: Mount St. Mary's Park, Bob Leonard Walkway, Beith House, Municipal Center, Pottawatomie Park and Arcada Theatre. Tour guides focus on keeping the group together and safely navigating St. Charles on this walking tour. Docents will be present at each tour stop to make presentations about the significance of each tour stop. This is a WALKING tour, so tour guides must be comfortable traversing the route rain or shine. Each tour guide will be accompanied by a time keeper/sweeper to assist with the tour. Luncheon is included.

A training session is required. Choose one of two dates for the training session: September 17 at 5 p.m. OR September 25 at 9 am. Training location TBA.

St. Charles is hosting the national America in Bloom Annual symposium and Awards Ceremony. We are seeking volunteers to support symposium efforts to assure we make the best impression and provide our guests with an enjoyable visiting experience.
