The American Cinematheque is a non-prift cultural film exhibition organization dedicated to the art of the moving picture in all it's forms. The AC believes that cinema is a communal experience with the power to entertain, enlighten and inspire. We build a diverse and engaged film community through immersive film curation, conversation, and presentation. We bridge the filmmaker to the audience and film history to its future.

Volunteers play an important role in the hundreds of film screenings, festivals, and special events that take place throughout the year. The American Cinematheque is seeking highly motivated, energetic, customer service-oriented movie lovers to welcome our audiences and assist our staff.

You can have fun while volunteering, meet likeminded film enthusiasts and see inceredible films all at the same time.

We have screeings at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, The LF3 (cinema1) in Los Feliz, the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood and all over town.
