ORGANIZATION: School on Wheels

Digital Learning Center (1)

School on Wheels is looking for volunteers to tutor and mentor homeless children and youth for one hour a week remotely online. The wonderful kids we serve are currently living in shelters, motels, hotels and in the streets. Volunteer tutors work with students over video chat and must commit one hour, once per week, for one year. No previous tutoring or teaching experience is required, just a willingness to make a real and lasting difference in a young person's life by helping them academically. Tutoring takes place over video chat, so you must have access to reliable internet and video/audio chat.

We have a particular need for tutors who can work with high school students.

To apply, visit this link - https://schoolonwheels.org/volunteer/application/ - watch the introductory video, and then scroll down and click the "online tutoring program" application link. It will be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life!
