Volunteer Opportunity: Grant Research Assistant Ready to be part of something extraordinary? Come volunteer as a Grant Research Assistant with our dynamic team! While we'd love to train everyone, this role requires specific skills.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the evolving structure, objectives, and programs of WonderSeed.
• Research and identify funding opportunities, including RFPs, grant applications, and corporate sponsorships.
• Prepare proposals, from grant writing to document formatting.
• Dive into ad hoc writing tasks, such as needs assessment.

Ideal Attributes:

• Culturally competent and compassionate.
• Conversational understanding of various complexities.
• Grant experience in a social services/non-profit setting.
• Proficient in using databases to locate funding opportunities and research foundations.
• Skilled in researching and identifying academic sources for proposals.
• Strong writing skills - craft proposals in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Note: Must be 18 or older and eligible to work in the US.
