If you would like to make a difference in the lives of others, become an Agape Hospice volunteer!

We are looking for a few veterans who can help us honor veteran hospice patients for their service to our country. We provide Veteran Honoring Ceremonies to our hospice patients who have served in the military to recognize their sacrifice and to thank them deeply for their service.

Agape Hospice was voted the Best Hospice in Tucson in 2021 and 2022, receiving the Arizona Daily Star Readers Choice Award. At Agape, we provide excellent care to our patients, and our volunteer program is a big part of what we do.

Hospice is not just about dying, but also about enhancing the quality of life that a person has remaining.

We believe that honoring veterans for their service to our country is a crucial part to the end-of-life journey. You can become a part of that journey! If you are in active duty military, are a veteran, or simply have a heart to serve our veterans, we would love to have you join us in our endeavors to honor the veterans in our community.

Some Veteran Volunteers also choose to become Companion Volunteers as well, regularly visiting patients at the end of life. Companion Volunteers establish a relationship with a patient, and talk with and listen to the patient so they feel loved and appreciated.
