Description
Self-Discovery: Pain, Positioning & Purpose, Inc. (SDPPP) is a Metro-Atlanta, GA based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in February 2018 by suicide survivor, Venessa Abram. After suffering years of personal pain, suicide attempts, and the loss of her older brother (to completed suicide), Mrs. Abram founded SDPPP to fully walk in her purpose and help others to find hope, healing and a purposeful life.
The purpose of our program is to facilitate a comprehensive approach to preventing suicide and promoting wellness among individuals affected by or at risk for suicide in our target population. Because suicide has no single cause, SDPPP engages in multiple pathways to prevention. Our program is designed to provide direct assistance, resources and referrals for those in need, and to assist the greater community in prevention efforts through training, technical assistance, and coaching.
