No experience? No problem! We have various shifts and tasks available for volunteers of all abilities, from 10 years old on up! We welcome volunteers from all walks of life, including retirees, homeschool families or groups, as well as families and friends looking to make a difference together. In addition, we welcome special needs volunteers, accompanied by their mentors from local agencies.

If you enjoy being around animals, being outdoors, and getting some exercise, on-farm volunteering is perfect for you!

Volunteer Shifts: Weekly or Bi-weekly commitment

• Weekdays 8:30am-10:30am: Caring for the herd, camel, donkeys, alpacas, goats, and geese. Ages 13-17 with an adult or 18 and up.

• Weekends Sat.10am-11:30am & Sun. 8:30am-10:30am: Caring for the same animals as above. Ages 13-17 with an adult or 18 and up.

Flexible Cleaning Shifts : Weekly or Bi-weekly commitment

• Cleaning the goat house and pen: Ages 10-17 with an adult or 18 and up.
• Cleaning the geese coop: Ages 10-17 with an adult or 18 and up.
• Cleaning the cat house: Ages 10-17 with an adult or 18 and up.

Volunteer Coordinator: All tasks is done from a computer at home

• Recruit, screen, and schedule volunteers
• Match volunteers with appropriate tasks and projects

Fundraising Volunteers Needed : We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us raise essential funds. Without your support, Purpose Farm wouldn't exist. No experience required!

Social Media Volunteer: If you're savvy with social media or willing to learn, we need your help! Keeping our supporters informed is crucial. Fill out our volunteer application today!

Lawn Care Volunteers: Spring is here, and that means mowing! If you have a knack for lawn care, or garden care we'd love to have you on our team. Fill out our volunteer application today!

Qualifications:

• You must be 18 or older to be a volunteer. (13-17 years old per basis with an adult)
• You do not need horse experience to volunteer.
• We will not set up your first visit until we receive your volunteer application. Please email us once you have submitted the application.
• You must be committed! We are counting on you to show up. We do not have a backup plan or another volunteer to cover your shift.
• Be invested in our mission of changing the lives of not only the animals but the YOUTH who depend on coming to the farm. In return your life becomes changed.

*Please note that we can only take a limited number of volunteers. It may also take several weeks or more before you will have your first visit and start training.
