An estimated 10 million Californians experience barriers to dental care. The California Dental Association and CDA Foundation host CDA Cares, a program that allows volunteer dentists, with the assistance of other dental professionals and community volunteers, to provide dental services at no charge to an average of 1,950 people at each event.
CDA Cares offers extractions, fillings, cleanings, oral health education and assistance finding a source for ongoing dental care. On a limited basis, CDA Cares also offers root canals, dentures and temporary partial dentures.
To help provide oral health care services to the large number of expected people, community volunteers are needed to assist with registration, clinic setup, data entry, escorting people, translating and much more.
We would love to have you as a volunteer at CDA Cares Solano. To sign up please use the link below and look for Community Volunteer opportunities. You can then select the date/time of shift you would like to volunteer for.

For adults, it can enhance employment outcomes, improve quality of life and, for many, restore dignity.
