Visit Our Hospice Patients One Hour A Week? Incredibly Rewarding!
Our Patient Companion Volunteers offer kindness, attention and thoughtful support to hospice patients and family members at a time when it means the most. Make visits to care facilities or patient homes to provide a caring presence, ease loneliness, share stories and laughs, help with enjoyable activities, and remind folks that they are not alone on their end-of life journey. Volunteers mean so much to our patients and families!
We offer great training and ongoing support to ensure that you feel comfortable in your work as a valued member of our Hospice Team.
Visit our website at: www.goodshepherdhospice.com to submit your volunteer application and we will follow up with you right away. Or, contact Alicia Piland at 918-786-6182 or alicia.piland@goodshepherdhospice for more information.

Description
COMPASSIONATE ABOUT CARE. passionate about life.
At Good Shepherd Hospice, we believe that health care is more than just a diagnosis and a treatment. It's a daily exercise in making this moment...this today...the very best it can be. We're here to help our patients achieve that goal - physically, mentally, spiritually...and for whatever that means individually.
We believe that in the passing of a person’s life, there are also extraordinary opportunities for compassion, reconciliation, spiritual healing, and renewal.
Our Volunteers play a vital role in our Hospice program. From working in the office, to creating special projects at home, to visiting to provide companionship and ease loneliness, Good Shepherd Hospice Volunteers make special moments happen again and again for the patients and families we serve.
Our History - 23 Years of Comforting and Serving

Every member of our team receives comprehensive, ongoing training. We are Medicare Certified and State Licensed.
