Would you like to help dogs find their forever homes? If so, this might be the perfect volunteer role for you! We're looking for an additional Dog Adoption Coordinator to streamline the adoption process for our foster dogs. This role requires good organizational and communication skills, as well as computer skills. You can expect to spend anywhere from 10 - 12 hours per week helping our dogs and their adopters through the adoption process. We'll train you every step of the way and will be here for support always, as we value teamwork!
P.S. Since this position is virtual, you don't need to live in the Denver area to help out!
ADOPTION COORDINATOR
- Review and process dog applications
- Respond to applicants within 48 hours of application submission
- Work with applicants to help find a dog that is a fit for them
- Connect applicants with fosters and provide support in communicating with applicants
- Facilitate all steps of the adoption process
- Ensure adoption agreements and adoption fees are submitted prior to adoption
- Send announcements to the team regarding adoption
- Send adopters post-adoption information
- Post adoptions and/or other updates on ARR's FB foster page
- Keep shared documents updated, included adoption list and active applicants
- Completely remote; computer/internet access required
- Must be able to make phone calls as needed to check pet policies and regulations with leasing offices, landlords, and towns/cities
- This is a time sensitive position; we require a 24-48 hour response time to applications and other volunteer inquiries
- Approximate hours per week: 10- 15
