Every person has a gift. Our volunteer coordinators will help you find that special something that makes your care truly special, and then match your talents with opportunities in your area.
Are you looking for a way to give back? Gentiva Hospice is currently seeking volunteers to provide some cheer to terminally ill patients in either their private homes or nursing facilities. There is no minimum time commitment; we will work with your schedule. We are currently in dire need of Volunteers in the the Scottsdale area, but we have patients all over the East Valley including Apache Junction, Mesa, Chandler, Tempe, Gilbert, Queen Creek. Volunteers participate in many ways including playing card games, reading to patients, arts and crafts projects, watching movies, taking a walk, assisting patients with small household chores or errands and much more!
Hospice volunteers are people with a giving heart and compassion so if this sounds like you; we'd love to have you as part of our team! Orientation and training provided! Come make a difference!
