Mission Statement
To engage teens globally to be changemakers, utilizing the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals as a framework with a global video contest and virtual teen-led SDG virtual meeting gatherings called SDG Hubs.
Description
The Global Co Lab Network is a virtual "do tank" that empowers inter-generational engagement focused on empowering teens globally using an annual video contest and virtual teen-led "Hubs" focused on the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals. The next generation needs to be better understood and heard and older generations have significant experience and networks to share. The Global Co Lab designs inter-generational engagements focused on fostering more effective solutions led by youth, working with adult mentors on such topics as climate change, gender equality, quality education, racial justice, wildlife conservation, fighting hunger, getting rid of single-use plastics, reducing the stigma of mental health, fostering work on all of these issues in other languages (Spanish and Turkish now) and calling together all artists to work on these goals.
