The event team assists with setting up, staffing events, as well as strike event. You can select helping with setup/staff event, or staff event/close. Many like to do both as how do you leave when you don't want to miss out.
There is also a hospitality lounge that opens one hour before films start, and closes one hour after films end, where you can come take a four hour shift keeping already existing event running.

Description
We need volunteers to assist with our annual festival which takes place this year Oct 17-20th at AMC UTC La Jolla. The Theater Ops team is our greatest need. They usher, scan guests into theaters, and pass out and count ballots. We need about 100 volunteers to assist on this team each year.
