Volunteers

Come join the cashier and customer service team at Community Threads! We are currently looking for those who enjoy the customer service environment and would like to spend about 3 hours each week as a cashier. We have a superb team of cashiers and we hope you will join us!

Cashiering involving the following tasks:
-Standing at the checkout desk
-Assisting customers with general questions
-Ringing up orders and cash handling

We are specifically looking for cashiers who would be able to volunteer one of the following shifts:
Mondays from 4pm-7pm
Tuesdays from 10am-1pm
Wednesdays from 1pm -4pm (we have 2 slots open-come volunteer with a friend!)
Thursdays 10am-1pm

Additionally, we have cashiers who volunteer on an "as-needed" basis. This is a great option if you are unable to commit to a regular shift.

All cashier volunteers are required to complete a background check (paid for by Community Threads).

The profits generated by Community Threads support local ministries including Home of the Sparrow. Home of the Sparrow provides housing and resources to homeless women and children.

Reach out to us and let's get started!
