Help one of Chicago's oldest and largest food pantries distribute food to clients, stock shelves, unload deliveries, sort donations, or make home deliveries as we work to end hunger in Chicago. This opportunity provides flexibility in schedule and hours. Volunteer with Nourishing Hope once or for any shift(s) you like. Most of our volunteer options are limited to those who are 16 or older, but limited youth volunteer opportunities are also available.

Nourishing Hope (formerly Lakeview Pantry) is a dynamic social services organization providing food, mental wellness counseling and other social services, such as job and housing assistance, to our Chicago neighbors in need. Founded in 1970, we strive to serve the needs of the whole person-with respect and dignity, always.
