The St. Cloud VA Health Care System is dedicated to providing exceptional health care to our service men and women, join our team as a volunteer to honor our Nation’s Veterans today! Volunteers are needed for various assignments throughout the health care system and we need your help to meet a growing demand.
We currently have volunteer openings in nearly every area of the campus. Volunteers are needed for escorting patients to and from their appointments, assisting in areas such as the Canteen and Nutrition and Food Services with stocking and sanitizing surfaces, as well as assisting Pharmacy staff with routine pharmaceutical duties and needs. We also have a continued need for Volunteer Drivers and Ambassadors. Volunteer drivers are the connection between Veterans and the care they so greatly deserve. Access to care can be a tremendous barrier for Veterans, especially those residing in rural areas of the state. Volunteer drivers not only fulfill this great need, but they also have the opportunity to visit and interact with our Nation's Heroes!
Volunteer Ambassadors are also needed to assist Veterans with way-finding and navigating their visit while on campus. Ambassadors are often the first friendly face Veterans encounter upon arriving on campus and they play a vital role in providing exemplary customer service.
The Center for Development and Civic Engagement, formerly known as Voluntary Service, offers flexible scheduling, assignment specific training, and a commitment to excellence for all customers. Please call the Center for Development and Civic Engagement office at 320.255.6365 or email us at vhastcvavsstaff@va.gov for more information.
