Volunteering with Cultivate is a fun and easy way to serve the community! We love working with individuals, companies, teams, organizations, and small groups to change lives in Northern Indiana. Volunteer with us to prep the food or to help package frozen meals that we distribute throughout northern Indiana. We have several on-going volunteer opportunities. A volunteer shift will last for two to three hours depending on the day.
Being able to stand on your feet for two hours is necessary and masks are worn while in the building.

Cultivate is devoted to organizing our community resources to fight hunger through food rescue.
Description
Food rescue, also called food recovery or food salvage, is the practice of gathering edible food that would otherwise go to waste from places such as restaurants, grocery stores, produce markets, or dining facilities and distributing it to local food banks, food pantries, and emergency food programs.
Cultivate has long focused on helping those underserved and overlooked in our community. Through our Food Rescue program, we can provide meals to the needy for as little as $0.75 per meal! Help us achieve one of our goals of ensuring no one goes hungry in northern Indiana by supporting and volunteering today!
