Can you set aside two hours once or twice a month to give a senior a helping hand in their home?
Help At Your Door, a nonprofit serving seniors, is in need of volunteers to assist with home support. Tasks can vary based on client needs and volunteer skills; some examples include: dusting, vacuuming, general tidying, organization, and other home cleaning tasks.
Help At Your Door serves clients throughout the Twin Cities Metro area. Our home support program is restarting after being paused during the pandemic.
We offer flexible scheduling, social interaction with a welcoming volunteer community, and most of all, hands-on activities that help the aging population and individuals with disabilities maintain their independence and continue living in their homes.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age, or accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also a volunteer.
