The Florida Guardian ad Litem Office of the Treasure Coast serves Saint Lucie, Indian River, Martin and Okeechobee Counties. We need volunteers to represent for abused, neglected, and abandoned children both in the courtroom and in the community. As a Guardian ad Litem volunteer, you are part of the team that provides legal representation for these children in expressing their needs, wishes, and best interests. We do this through a unique and holistic approach that supports the whole child, addressing their physical, educational, mental, emotional, social, and legal needs. Guardians ad Litem become people our most vulnerable children can trust. As a team together, we provide powerful, effective, high-quality advocacy with one goal: that every child finds a safe, loving, permanent home where they can thrive. Our volunteers come from all walks of life. No previous training or experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know to start making a difference in the life of one of these children today.
