Grief Support Group Leader for Children and Teens

ORGANIZATION: LifePath Hospice, Inc.

LifePath Hospice is looking for Dedicated volunteers to assist with our Circle of Love support groups. Circle of Love volunteers are extraordinary people who make a big difference in the lives of grieving children and adults. These volunteers will co-lead groups in the evening in our South Tampa and Sun City locations and help facilitate healthy grief work through sharing and creative self-expression. Inside the Circle of Love Center's activity rooms, feelings are expressed through art, games and dramatic play.

The average time commitment is 10 hours per month and we ask for a 1 year commitment. Volunteers much complete hospice Volunteer training as well as a day of specialized training to work with grieving children. If you are interested in joining our team - please complete an online application at

Description

LifePath Hospice offers guidance and support to individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families as they travel on a new and unfamiliar path of life. With the assistance of medical professionals, counselors, clergy and trained volunteers, patients and families are cared for and educated on end-of-life issues in order to make this final journey as peaceful and comfortable as possible.
