Everyone wants to change the world. Start by changing just one life.
Benevilla has an urgent need of volunteers to assist with the grocery shopping for homebound seniors.
Benevilla is a local, West Valley, not-for-profit organization that serves children, their families, and older adults with dementia and intellectual or developmental disabilities.
We provide free volunteer assisted services such as grocery shopping, transportation, friendly visitor/phone pals, to housebound individuals. In addition, to the four different day programs for adults with dementia and other disabilities, we also have a preschool/child care center, which includes an intergenerational component.

Started by and for our community in 1981, Benevilla enriches lives of West Valley residents by serving older adults, adults with disabilities, children and the families who care for them.
Benevilla programs include our Life Enrichment Day Programs provide a friendly and specially designed atmosphere to best serve each member’s needs and provide respite for caregivers, Home Services for homebound seniors, Benefitness adaptive gym, Wirtzie's child development center, CARES Resource Line, Caregiver Support Groups and education opportunities, and so much more!
Volunteers are the heart and hands of Benevilla. Together we form a safety net of neighbors helping neighbors serving thousands of people each year. Because volunteers form our core, you’ll find a variety of opportunities to make a meaningful difference and develop close relationships that will enrich your life and the lives of others. Benevilla offers many rewarding, creative, and exciting ways to partner with them in service to the community.
